About CD and the
investigational drug
Crohn’s disease is a lifelong condition that causes inflammation of the entire digestive system, including (mouth, stomach, intestines, and rectum)
The most common symptoms are diarrhea, abdominal cramps, blood in the stool, weight loss, and tiredness.
Many available treatments for CD involve infusions (into a vein) or injections (under the skin), which can be uncomfortable for some people. These treatments help some people but not others, and sometimes the symptoms may come back.
The oral investigational drug being studied in the CULTIVATE Study is a pill.
Past research in patients with ulcerative colitis suggests that this investigational drug may reduce inflammation of the digestive system. It is thought that it will improve CD symptoms.

Care and medication provided: The investigational drug and study-related care will be provided to you at no cost.
Investigational drug: During the study treatment period, you will receive the investigational drug, either 2 mg or 3 mg.
