Dr. Bharat Pothuri, MD, FACG, is a highly experienced, board-certified gastroenterologist with over 25 years in the field. As the founder of GastroDoxs in the Greater Houston area, Dr. Pothuri has dedicated himself to providing comprehensive digestive care that combines medical expertise with a personal, compassionate touch.
Dr. Pothuri's extensive education includes completing his medical studies at KIMS Medical School, followed by a residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, and a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. He is board-certified in both gastroenterology and hepatology and was honored with the title of Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) in 2016, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field.

Jignesh Shah, MD
Dr. Jignesh P. Shah is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician with a strong commitment to providing advanced gastrointestinal care. He earned his medical degree from Pramukh Swami Medical College in India and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Shah further specialized by completing a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he was honored for his excellence and served as chief resident.
A former president of the Harris County Medical Society, Dr. Shah remains actively involved in various professional medical societies. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and clinical excellence.
